Exterior cleaning is won on quotes. The customer has usually asked two or three firms, and the first clear price often gets the job.
Price it the way you price it
Your price list holds your own rates, by the square metre, metre, hour, item or job. Each one fills in a quote line, so a patio is the measurement times your rate. Staff can quote from the list without being able to change it.
| Service | Priced by |
|---|---|
| Driveway or patio clean | Square metre |
| Gutter clear | Metre or job |
| Roof soft wash | Square metre |
| Render wash | Square metre |
| Commercial forecourt | Job |
Photos arrive with the enquiry
Point your website form at your account and each enquiry lands on the board as a card, with the address, the service and up to five photos of the job. It means you can often price the work before you drive out.
The customer says yes in the email
Pressing Email quote sends a branded PDF with a link to accept or decline, with no sign-in. The same link is on the PDF, so a printed copy can be answered too. You are told either way, and won work waits in its own column until you give it a date.
Deposits on bigger jobs
Larger jobs can take a deposit when they are booked in. The final invoice then asks for the balance, not the full amount.
Know what you made
Fuel, chemicals and kit go in beside the invoices, with a photo of each receipt. Reports then show what came in, what went out and what was left, month by month.
Check this first
Services CRM does not take Direct Debit, send text messages, plan routes on a map or sync with accounting software such as Xero. Invoices and expenses download as spreadsheets for your bookkeeper instead. If any of those is essential to how you work, check that first.
